The Lord’s peace
is always available to you no matter how you try to get to it. You can choose a
hard path or an easier path.
…and peace is not
to be confused with happiness.
2 Thess. 3:16, “Now
may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times
and in every way. The Lord be with you all.”
1 Cor. 14:33, “for
God is not characterized by disorder but by peace. As in all the churches
of the saints,”
2 Cor. 13:11, “Finally,
brothers and sisters, rejoice, set things right, be encouraged, agree with one
another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with
you.”
Col. 3:15, “Let
the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact
called as one body to this peace), and be thankful.”
Rom. 8:6, “For the
outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life
and peace,”
Phil. 4:6-7; “Do
not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and
petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace of God
that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ
Jesus.”
